The Swiss Society for Medical Genetics (Schweizerische Gesellschaft fur Medizinische Genetik [SGMG]) plays a leading role in medical-genetic and genomic patient care. Its aim is to promote clinical genetics, genetic counselling and laboratory diagnostics in Switzerland and to further develop genetic and genomic medicine in practice.
