The HANABI S1020 Staining kit is used on the HANABI S1020 Auto Chromosome Staining System. Reagents, minus deionized water and ethanol, are provided in easy-to-use volumes to reduce manual reagent preparation and further reduce processing time for the staining of approximately 800 slides.

High quality cytogenetic stains are the result of a time-consuming manual process that requires skilled technicians. Generally, slides are aged from 12-24 hours before being conditioned and stained. However, the HANABI S1020 is designed to automate the chromosome staining process. Consequently, this automation reduces processing time, delivers reproducible chromosome staining, and frees up skilled technicians to analyze metaphases.
